Administrative data

First-aid measures

Remove all contaminated clothes and footwear immediately  unless stuck to skin.  Drebch the affected skin with running water for 10 minutes or longer if substance is still on skin.  Transfer to hospital if there are burns or symptoms of poisoning.  If eye contact occurs bathe the eye with running water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.  If ingestion occurs wash out mouth with water, DO NOT induce vomiting.  Give 1 cup of water to drink every 10 minutes.  If unconscious and breathing i sOK, place in the recovery position.  Seek medical attention as soon as possible.  If inhalation of fumes or vapour occurs remove casualty from exposures (ensuring one's own safety while doing so).  If conscious, ensure the casualty sits or lies down.  If breathing becomes bubbly, have the casualty sit and provide oxygen if available.  See medical attention as soonas possible.

Fire-fighting measures

Use an extinguishing media  suitable for the surrounding fire.  Water spray can be used to cool containers

Accidental release measures

Notify the police and fire brigade immediately.  If outside keep bystanders upwind and away from danger point.  Mark out the contaminated area with signs and prevent access to unauthorised personnel.  Do not attempt to take action without suitable protective clothing.  Turn leaking containers leak-side up to preven the liquid escaping.

Do not allow to enter drains or sewers.

Clean up should be dealt with by qualified personnel familiar with the substance.  Absord onto dry earth or sand and transfer to a suitable container

Handling and storage

Avoid direct contact with the substance.  Storage area should be well ventilated and care should be taken to avoid the formation and spread of mistsin the air.  Any required handling must be carried out using appropriate PPE (e.g. full airsuit).
