Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Any other information on results incl. tables

The explosive properties are determined according to the " Recommendtions on the transport of dangerous goods, Manual of test and criteria, Appendix 6, Screening procedures".

Examination of the structure of Carbamic acid, N-(3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl)-2-(ethyl-(4-nitroso-phenyl)amino) ethyl ester indicates that there are potential groups accociated with explosive properties.

As a small scale thest the total reaction enthalpy was determined by DSC. The result was onset temperature of 177°C and a total reaction of enthalphy of 435 J/g.

Because the onset temperature is below 500°C and the total reaction enthalphy is below 500 J/g, negative results for the explosive properties can be predicted and no further testing for explosive properties as been carried out.
