Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The toxicity test to aquatic algae (key_toxicity to aquatic algae_2013_ReL2) performed according to OECD 201 (2011) and GLP was rated with RL=2 (reliable with restrictions) and used as key study. The influence of the test item on the growth of the freshwater green algae Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata was assessed in a static dose response test.

The results indicate that the test item inhibits the growth of the freshwater green alga Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata after 72 hours with the following effect values:

The 72-hour EC50 (Yield) was calculated to be 4.98 mg test item/L and the 72-hour EC50 (Growth rate) value was calculated to be 5.93 mg test item/L.

The 72-hour EC10 (Yield) was calculated to be 3.32 mg test item/L and the 72-hour EC10 (Growth rate) value was calculated to be 4.24 mg test item/L.

The 72-hour NOEC (Yield) was determined to be 1.16 mg test item/L and the associated 72-hour LOEC (Yield) was 3.97 mg test item/L.

The 72-hour NOEC (Growth rate) was determined to be 1.16 mg test item/L and the associated 72-hour LOEC (Growth rate) was 3.97 mg test item/L.

All results refer to mean measured concentrations at t = 0h as most of the tested concentrations were below the limit of detection at the end of the test.
