Description of key information

The oxygen balance is calculated for the main test substance component containing two C9 branches. The oxygen balance of the test substance was – 267%, which is less than -200%. According to this, the test substance is considered to pose no risk for explodability.

Based on the assessment of oxygen mass balance the substance di C8 -10, branched, C9 rich, alkylnaphthalene sulphonic acid (DNNSA) is not subject to classification according to CLP (Regulation EC No 127272008) or DSD (Directive 67/548/EEC).
