Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Summary of the data:

96-h LC50: 3.5 µg/L (carp, OECD 203, Fournier, 2010)

96-h LC50: 4.7 µg/L (fathead minnow, OECD 203, Fournier, 2010)

96-h LC50: 9.1 µg/L (rainbow trout, OECD 203, Fournier, 2010)

96-h LC50: 26 µg/L (bluegill sunfish, York, 2010, non-GLP pre-test for fish bioconcentration test, see IUCLID section 5.3.1)

96-h LC50: 27 µg/L (saltwater, sheephead minnow, OECD 203, Fournier, 2010)

Four guideline/GLP studies (three with a freshwater and one with a saltwater species) are available for this endpoint. All are considered to be relevant, reliable, adequate for risk assessment, and adequate for classification purposes. The lowest LC50 result (for freshwater and saltwater species separately) are carried forward for risk assessment purposes. In addition there is a further result for a freshwater species (bluegill sunfish) which is not lower than the corresponding selected value.
