Description of key information

Based upon the in vitro EpiDerm™ Skin Model, the test substance was considered to have a very low order of skin irritation potential. 
Based upon the in vitro EpiOcular™ Human Cell Construct assay,the test substance was considered to have a low order of eye irritation potential.
In the in vitro Bovine Corneal Opacity and Permeability (BCOP) Assay, the test substance was considered to be a mild irritant based on the in vitro score (the lowest group for assessing eye irritancy by in vitro scoring).

Based on the available information from in vitro studies, the substance is likely to have a very low order of skin irritation potential and a low order of eye irritation potential.

The substance does not meet classification criteria under EU Directive 67/548/EEC for skin and eye irritation.

The substance does not meet classification criteria under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 for skin and eye irritation.
