Description of key information

Based on the CO2 analysis results from a test for ready biodegradability, the test substance cannot be characterized as ‘readily biodegradable’ according to the OECD 301B guideline (since it did not reach 60% or greater CO2 evolution within a 10-day window of exceeding 10% biodegradation).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

Under the test conditions of a ready biodegradability study according to the OECD 301B guideline, no significant biodegradation was observed.
