In a GLP-compliant study performed in accordance with EC A.16, no self-ignition took place.

An exothermic reaction started at an oven temperature of about 288°C. The test substance temperature increased to 376°C at an oven temperature of 296°C. The observed exothermic effect is in agreement with the decomposition temperature of 300°C as determined by DSC (see endpoint 4.2). It was therefore concluded that the effect was not due to self-ignition.
