The partition coefficient (n-octanol/water) is  log P = 2.68 at pH 12.5 and 21°C

A study was performed to determine the partition coefficient (n-octanoVwater) of Formaldehyde, polymer with benzenamine, hydrogenated. The method followed was amongst those described in EEC Methods for determination of physicochemical properties, Directive 92169 EEC (OJ No. L383A, 29.12.92), Part A, Methods A1 - A17. The substance was found to have a value of: log P = 2.68 at pH 12.5 and 21°C with an associated accuracy of 0.05 log units.
