Reference
Endpoint:
boiling point
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
From 17 to 29 Jun 2015
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: Experimental result according to a reliable method
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 103 (Boiling point/boiling range)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
photocell detection
Atm. press.:
1 013 hPa
Remarks on result:
other: The test cannot be carried out.

The preliminary test result indicated that the melting point of sample is approximately 170 ℃ -180 ℃. The sample is solid at ambient temperature, so placed the sample in the capillary and heated to 185℃ by boiling-melting point apparatus in order to melt the sample. The liquid state sample is too viscous to be tested.

Conclusions:
The boiling point of the test substance cannot be tested.

Description of key information

The boiling point of the test substance cannot be tested.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The boiling point of the test substance cannot be tested as the liquid state sample is too viscous to be tested. (Yang Xu, 2015).
