Administrative data

First-aid measures

General information: Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.

· After inhalation: Supply fresh air; consult doctor in case of complaints.

· After skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.

· After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Then consult a doctor.

· After swallowing: Call for a doctor immediately

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media

· Suitable extinguishing agents: CO2, powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam.

· For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents: No restriction in large fires.

· Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: In case of fire, the following can be released: Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) Carbon monoxide (CO)

Very high danger of dust explosions. A dust explosion may occur caused by electrostatic discharge.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:

Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away.

Avoid formation of dust.

Use respiratory protective device against the effects of fumes/dust/aerosol.

Avoid contact with eyes and skin.

Do not breathe dust.

Avoid spillage of product into the environment.

Access only for trained personnel with personal protective equipment.

Environmental precautions: No special measures required.

Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.

Keep contaminated washing water and dispose of appropriately.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up

Pick up mechanically. If formation of dust cannot be avoided use respiratory filter device.

Possible formation of explosive dust/air mixtures.

Handling

· Precautions for safe handling:

Keep containers tightly sealed and store in dry location.

Fill only in dedicated and assigned containers.

· Information about fire - and explosionprotection:

Dust can combine with air to form an explosive mixture.
