First-aid measures

CONTACT WITH SKIN OR EYES

- Take off immediately all contaminating clothing.

- When contact with skin, wash out immediately with plenty of soap and water.

- In case of contact with eyes, immediately wash out with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

- Call a physician for medical advice.

CONTACT WITH EYES

- If substance has got into eyes, immediately wash out with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

- Consult a doctor for medical advice

INGESTION

- If swallowed, induce vomiting immediately by giving two glasses of water and sticking finger down throat.

- Call a physician for medical advicz

INHALATION

- Move the person affected for fresh air promptly.

- If not breathing, give artificial respiration, preferably mouth to mouth. If breathing is difficult, supply oxygen.

- Call a physician for medical advice.

- Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Fire-fighting measures

SPECIAL FIRE-FIGHTING PROCEDURES

- Wear self-contained breathing apparatus, protective clothing, gloves, boots and safety glasses.

- Extinguishing media: Water Spray.

UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD

- This product may smolder and ignite when exposed to extreme heat, open flame or sparks.

- When on fire, it would burn slowly but persistently.

Accidental release measures

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IF SPILLED OR LEAKED

- Ventilate area of spill.

- Collect material into appropriate containers for reuse or disposal.

- Flush with water to wastewater treatment system.

Handling and storage

- The usual precautions for handling chemicals should be observed.

- Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.

- Ensure adequate ventilation. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment.

- Follow personal hygiene in handling lead compounds.

- Wash thoroughly after handling.

- Keep at all times away from extreme heat, flame and strong oxidizing agents.
