Conclusions:
The measured vapour pressure of the test substance at 40, 45 and 50°C was 0.0491, 0.0975 and 0.1647 mPa, respectively. The calculated vapour pressure of the test substance at 20 and 25°C was 0.0034 mPa (3.4 × 10e-6 Pa) and 0.0069 mPa (6.9 × 10e-6 Pa), respectively.
Executive summary:

This study was conducted to determine the vapour pressure of the test substance. The vapour pressure was determined according to the regulatory guidelines: OPPTS 830.7950, EEC A.4, and OECD 104 employing the gas saturation method.

The vapour pressure of the test item was determined at three gas flow rates (approximately 35, 45 and 55 mL/min) and at three temperatures (40, 45 and 50°C). The analysis of active ingredient was conducted using a validated HPLC method. The mean vapour pressure values were 0.0491, 0.0975 and 0.1647 mPa at 40, 45 and 50°C, respectively. A vapour pressure curve was plotted using inverse value of experimental temperature in K (1/T) on X- axis and VP on Y-axis. The vapour pressure of the test item at 20 and 25°C was calculated using slope and intercept of the regression line. The vapour pressure of test item at 20 and 25°C were 0.0034 and 0.0069 mPa (3.4 × 10e-6 and 6.9 × 10e-6 Pa), respectively.
