In the DSC curve recorded during the heating of the test substance (-90 °C - 349 °C) a small glass transition peak was observed between -75 °C and -50 °C. An endothermic effect was observed from 275 °C. This effect was caused by reaction/decomposition of the test substance.

After the experiment, a yellow/brown coloured residue remained in the sample container.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Reaction and/or decomposition of the test substance were observed above approximately 275°C (548K): melting and/or boiling of the test substance were not observed below the temperature at which reaction and/or decomposition started. Within the scope of this test, the test substance has no melting and/or boiling temperature.
Executive summary:

The determination of the melting point was carried out according to OECD guide line 102. In the DSC curve recorded during the heating of the test substance (-90 °C - 349 °C) a small glass transition peak was observed between -75 °C and -50 °C.
