Administrative data

First-aid measures

Inhalation: Move the person away from the contaminated area. Make the affected person rest. If necessary obtain medical attention.
Skin contact: Remove all contaminated clothing and foot-ware. Wash with soap and plenty of water. In case of inflammation (redness, irritation) obtain medical attention.
Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, whilst keeping the eyes wide open, until irritation subsides. If necessary obtain medical advice.
Ingestion: Never attempt to induce vomiting. Give plenty of water to drink and obtain medical attention. Beware of aspiration of vomit if vomiting occurs.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media :To suit local surroundings (e.g. water spray, carbon dioxide, foam, chemical powder).

Accidental release measures

Methods for cleaning up: Adhere to personal protective measures.
Take up mechanically (e.g. sweep or vacuum up) into tightly closable containers. Label container and dispose of as prescribed.
Environmental considerations:Do not allow to get into waste water

Handling and storage

Advice on safe handling: Handle in accordance with good hygiene and safety practice. Keep the raising and deposition of dust to a minimum.
Storage conditions: Ensure adequate ventilation of the storage area. Keep containers tightly closed, cool and dry.
