1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.2 (Boiling Temperature)
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 103 (Boiling Point/Boiling Range)

Type of method:
differential scanning calorimetry
Remarks on result:
not determinable
Remarks:
No thermal effects could be assigned to a boiling point.

Results

In the first and second test the heat flow record shows a series of exothermic and endothermic effects. No thermal effect can be assigned to a boiling point.

Conclusion

A series of exothermic and endothermic effects occurred before the boiling point. The boiling point of the sample cannot be measured.

Description of key information

No thermal effects could be assigned to a boiling point up to a temperature of 500 °C (Differential scanning calorimetry, OECD 103)
