Administrative data

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Keep the victim warm and quiet. Remove the victim from

contamination immediately to fresh air.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Wear eye/face protection. Chemical goggles are recommended.

Emergency measure - Skin: If prolonged or repeated contact is likely, chemical

resistant clothing is recommended.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Consult a physician.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Extinguish with foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder or water fo

g

Product arising from burning: Carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen, water,

hydrofluoric acid

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Selection of respiratory protection for fire fighting:

follow the general fire precaution indicated in the

workplace. Self-contained breathing apparatus and full

protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Personal precautions: extinguish all ignition sources. Avoid

sparks, heat and smoking. Ventilate. Avoid inhalation of

vapors/spray and contact with skin and eyes. Wear suitable

protective clothing.

Spill clean-up methods: Absorb spillage with non-

combustible, absorbent material. Remove sources of ignition.

Beware of the explosion danger.

Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter drains,

sewers or watercourses.

Handling and storage

Handling: All handling to take place in well-entilated area. Local

exhaust is recommended. Avoid inhalation of vapors and spray

mist and contact with skin and eyes. Wear approved safety

goggles. Do not smoke and do not spray near a naked flame or

other sources of ignition. The product is flammable, and

heating may generate vapors which may form explosive

vapor/air mixtures. Vapors are heavier than air and may

travel along the floor and in the bottom of containers.

Vapors may be ignited by a spark, a hot surface or an ember.

Observe good industrial hygiene practices.

Storage: Store in closed container at temperatures between -4°F and

77°F. Store in a dry place. Keep away from heat, sparks and

open flame. Store in a cool and well-ventilated place.

Follow rules for flammable liquids. Protect against direct

sunlight.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 250 g FHDPE bottles, 1 liter HDPE bottles, 4 liter HDPE

bottles, in two plastic bags per unit.
