Data relating to the identity, purity and stability of the test material are the responsibility of the
Sponsor.

The following compositional information was supplied by the Sponsor:

The test material is a mixture of 4,4'-sulfonylbisphenol, partially salted with tetraphenyl
phosphonium ions.

Due to the absence of a suitable analytical method to simultaneously quantify all components,
separate analytical methods have been used to monitor the tetraphenyl phosphonium ions and the 4,4' -sulfonylbisphenol content of the test material.

Details on results:
Results
Preliminary test
The preliminary estimate of water solubility was 0.225 g/1.
Definitive test
The mean peak areas relating to the standard and sample solutions are shown in "Any other information on results".

The treatment and final solution pH for each test material sample solution are shown in "Any other information on results".

The concentration (g/l) of test material in the sample solutions is shown in "Any other information on results".

Validation
The linearity of the detector response with respect to concentration was assessed over a nominal
concentration range of 0 to 200 mg/I and 0 to 100 mg/I for the tetraphenyl phosphonium ion and
4,4'-sulfonylbisphenol analytical methods respectively. These were satisfactory with correlation
coefficients of 0.999 and 1.000 being obtained.
