The flash point of ‘Distillates (Fischer-Tropsch), C8-26 - branched and linear' was determined using the closed cup equilibrium method, Method A9 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC (which constitutes Annex V of Council Directive 67/548/EEC): 94± 2 °C.
However, the substance is a mixture of hydrocarbons (UVCB substance) and the flash point varies between ca. 64.5 and ca. 94 ºC in closed cup studies [product properties data by company (result of 13 determinations/batches; study period: 06/2011 - 01/2012)].
