Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

2 measurements are available.

The first measurement was performed in October 2003 for the purpose of new substance registration according to Directive 67/548/EEC. No endothermal process (melting) could be observed in the differential scanning calometry and an exothermal event was observed at about 180°C which had been attributed to a decomposition reaction.

The second measurement, representing the actual manufactured material, was performed in January 2020. This result is regarded as more reliable since recently manufactured testmaterial was measured using a state of the art and software controlled device and applying a reduced heating rate (3 K/min instead of 5 or 10 K/min).

Hence, this study is judged as the key study.
