First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: In case of accident by inhalation: remove casualty to fresh

air and keep at rest.

In the case of inhalation of aerosol/mist consult a

physician if necessary.

Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact with eyes, flushing with plenty of water

as a precaution.

Emergency measure - Skin: In case of contact with skin, wash with water and soap as a

precaution.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: If a person vomits when lying on his back, place him in a

recovery position.

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Drink

water as a precaution.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Suitable extinguishing media are water spray, alcohol-

resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.

Extinguishing media like full water jet should not be

used for safety reasons.

Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.

In the event of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes.

Use water spray to cool unopenend containers.

In the event of fire the workers should wear self-contained

breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Protective clothing should be worn, including gloves (i.e.

chloropren level 2 and butyl rubber level 6) and goggles.

Ensure adequate ventilation, keep people away and stay on

the upwind side. Suppress (knock down) gases/vapours/mists

with water spray jet.

Methods for cleaning up should be:

Damm up.

Wipe up with absorbent material (e.g. cloth, fleece).

Sweep up or vacuum up spillage and collect in suitable

container for disposal.

Ventilate area and wash spill site after material pick up

is complete.

Handling and storage

Handling: To avoid skin contact, tested protective gloves (e.g.

chloropren level 2 or butylrubber level 6) should be worn.

To avoid eye contact, safe eye protection should be worn.

Wash hands before breaks and after work. Change contaminated

clothing immediately.

Storage: Keep in a dry, cool place.

To maintain product quality, do not store in heat or direct

sunlight. Store in original container.

No special restrictions on storage with other products.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Packing in drums and canister (max. 100 kg).
