Registration Dossier

Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Seek fresh air. Seek medical advice if respiratory symptoms

occurs.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse the eye immediately with water for at least 15

minutes. Open eyes wide. Remove any contact lenses. Seek

medical advice. If possible, contiune rinsing until doctor

takes over treatment.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothes and wash contaminated skin

thoroughly with water and soap.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse out mouth thoroughly with water and give plenty of

water to drink to concious persons. Do not provoke vomiting.

Seek medical advice if symptoms persist.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide.

Product arising from burning: None identified. PC2404 is not highly flammable.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Wear protection gloves (e.g. disposable gloves) and eye-

protection or face-shield.

Awoid inhilation of dust. Use proper breathing protection

(e.g. mask - protection filter (P2)).

There must be an easy access to plentiful water suply,

emergency- or hand-shower and eye rinsing bottle.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Use the same personal protection equipment as used for

handling (see section 2.3.00).

Sweep or pick up spill for possible reuse or mix with an

absorbant (e.g. sand / vermiculite) and place in suitable

waste container. Clean contaminated surfaces with excess of

water.

Collect spills and waste in closed and sealed containers and

send to local disposal facility for chemical waste.

Handling and storage

Handling: Work must be done with effective mechanical ventilation

(e.g. local extractor fan). There must be access to running

water and eye wash.

In case of insufficient ventilation, wear respiratory

protection equipment with filter P2.

Wear disposable gloves of type PVC or NBR.

Wear eye protection on risk of plashes in eyes.

Storage: PC2404 may be stored in closely sealed high-density

polyethylene (HDPE) containers. Must be stored in a deep

freezer (-18 degrees Celsius).

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: PC2404 may be packed in closely sealed high-density

polyethylene (HDPE) containers. Deep freezing (-18 degrees

Celsius) must be maintained.
