First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove casualty to fesh air and keep warm and at rest.

Seek medical advice immediatly.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Protect unharmd eye.

Irrigate eyes for at least 15 min with copious quantities of
water, keeping eyelids apart and away from eyeballs during
irrigation. Call a physician immediatly.
Emergency measure - Skin: After contact with skin, wash immediatily with warm water
and soap. If symptoms persists seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: If swallowed, drink sufficient amounts of water and

seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: water spray, ABC powder, alcohol-resistant foam, carbon
dioxide

Protective equipment: Use self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Always wear recommended personal protective equipment, if
necessary use respiratory protection, wear suitable gloves
and eye protection.

Pick up and transfer to propertly labelled containers.

Clean contaminated surface thoroughly.


Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.
Prevent further leakage or spillage.

Handling and storage

Handling: All work processes must always be designed so that
inhalation of the substance is excluded as well as skin and
eye contact are as low as possible.


Exhaust ventilation at the object is necessary.


If local exhaust ventilation is not possible or not
sufficient, respiratory protection (full mask, P3) must be
worn.


To avoid skin and eye contact suitable gloves (butyl-rubber)
as well as personal protective equipment (impervious
clothing) and eye protection (goggles) must be worn.

Eye douches should be made available in the immediate
vicinity of the work area and their location should be
indicated conspicuously.

According to experience the following activieties are
involved:

maintenance and repair, weighing and sampling activities,
filling and transport as well as cleaning work.

Storage: Keep the substance only in the original container.

Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated
place. Do not leave vessels/containers open. Avoid product
residues in/on containers.
