Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key result
Type:
log Pow
Partition coefficient:
2.5
Temp.:
22.5 °C
Remarks on result:
other: pH not relevant
Details on results:
The deadtime (to) was determined as 2.191 minutes (mean of two determinations).
The regression equation produced was:
log10k= -0.88563 + 0.32838 log10Pow (R = 0.97325).

The test substance chromatographed as a single peak with a mean retention time from the duplicate injections of 4.079 minutes. This produced a partition coefficient of:
log10 Pow = 2.5004.

Duplicate blank solutions showed no peaks in the chromatograms at the characteristic retention time of the test substance.

The analytical data for the reference compounds and the test substance are adhered in "T-71 - analytical data partition coefficient.pdf".
Conclusions:
The partition coefficient of T-71 was found to be log10 Pow = 2.50 at 22.5 °C.
