Registration Dossier

Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Considering the low amounts of unused material, which
accumulates during use, recovery or recycling do not seem to
be feasible. Indeed, technological developments underway

aim at further reducing the material remaining in the used
cartridges, so that the material is used up almost
completely (> 98 %).

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: The substance is not dangerous. It is in a solid, paste-like
state and can be gathered mechanically. As it is used
exclusively in a preparation containing (meth)acrylate
resins, all measures in case of spills should be tailored to
the requirements of the (meth)acrylate resins.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Due to the (meth)acrylate resin component, residues of the
preparation should be treated as hazardous waste and be
disposed of accordingly.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The substance can be incinerated in any installation
equipped with adequate means for cleaning the exhaust fumes.
No concern for formation of chlorinated dibenzodioxins/-
furans is given because the substance does not contain
chlorine atoms.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: As the substance is insoluble in water and is not expected
to be released to waste water, this emission pathway is not
relevant.
