First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Fresh air. Consult doctor if felling unwell.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse out with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes with
the eyelid held open. Immediately summon eye specialist.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash off with plenty of water and soap. Remove contaminated
clothing.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse out mouth and drink plenty of water. Seek medical
attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Suitable extinguishing media: Powder, carbon dioxide and
foam.
Product arising from burning: Combustible: Development of hazardous combustion gases or
vapours - especially hydrogen chloride - is possible in the
event of fire.

Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Use hte same personal protection as used for handling (see
section 2.3.00).
Sweep up spill for possible reuse or mix with absorbent
material (e.g. sand) and place in suitable waste container.
Clean contaminated surfaces with excess of water.
Collect spills and waste in closed and sealed containers and
send to local disposal facility for chemical waste.
Handling and storage
Handling: When used the product will be pumped from the container to
the reactor.
Hand protection: Wear suitable gloves, e.g. rubber gloves.
Eye protection: Protective goggles.
Body protection: Wear protective clothing. Launder clothing
before reuse.
Storage: The product should be stored in tightly closed barrels in a
dry, cool and well-ventilated room. It must be kept away
from sources of ignition. Can be packed in polyethylene-
lined steel drums, glass or other inert containers.
