Emergency measure - Skin: Flush skin immediately with plenty of water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention. Wash soiled clothing before wearing again.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical, alcohol and universal foam, and water spray.

Product arising from burning: May generate oxides of nitrogen and sulphur, and carbon
dioxide.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Fire fighters should wear air supplied respirators.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Eliminate all ignition sources. Sweep up into containers and seal. Dispose of material in accordance with government requirements and ensure conformity to local disposal regulations.

Do not wash into sewer or waterways.

Handling and storage

Handling: Exposure is minimal. The usual precautions for the handling of chemicals should be observed. Inhalation and skin contact
are avoided by the use of impermable protective gloves and dust masks. Dust proof filling apparatus and appropriate
ventilation are also used.

Storage: Keep in securely closed unbreakable containers. Keep away
from foodstuffs and sources of ignition. Store in a cool and
dark place away from humidity.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Any spilled material is not recovered but is disposed of by incineration or disposal to landfill in accordance with local regulations.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Contaminated containers or spillages should be mixed with inert material (e.g. sand or soil) may be disposed of at an authorised tip in accordance with local regulations.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration is the preferred method of disposal by burning under controlled conditions at a licensed waste treatment processor in accordance with local regulations. Stack gases should be scrubbed as noxious fumes (e.g. carbon dioxide) could be formed.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Contaminated waste water should be treated by means of flocculation precipitation. The precipitated material should then be incinerated.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain.
