Executive summary:

A study was conducted according to OECD TG 102 and Directive 92/69/EEC method A1 to determine the freezing point of the test item. Therefore, the test item was added into a double walled freezing point tube. The tube was placed in a dewar containing acetone and solid carbon dioxide freezing mixture. The sample was gently stirred whilst the temperature was automatically recorded. In both determinations the test substance sample was observed to freeze at temperatures below -50 °C, but no plateau was present in the temperature curve. Thus, the melting point of Incozol LV was determined to be below -50 °C (223K).
