Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: - Remove victim from danger zone and take it to fresh air.
In case of respiratory problems or respiratory arrest,
administer artifical respiration. Keep victim warm and
still. Contact medical service or doctor immediately.
Emergency measure - Eyes: - In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with
running water for at least 15 minutes. Keep eyelids open
and let the eyes rotate in all directions. Contact
medical service or doctor immediately.
Emergency measure - Skin: - Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash skin
generously with soap and water. Contact medical service
or a doctor immediately.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: - Rinse mouth with water. Contact medical service or doctor
immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: - Atomized water, powder, foam, sand, CO2
Product arising from burning: - NOx, COx, water, chlorine and hydrogen chloride.

Storage: - The substance should be stored in a dry and cool storage
room in normal fibre drums with polyethylene bags.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: - Usual packaging consists of fibre drums and double poly-
ethylene inner bags. The bag is made up of plastic
material certified for use in Food Industry and having
anti static properties.
Pack size is normally 25 kg per drum.
