First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move patient to fresh air.  If symptoms persist, seek

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15

minutes.  If eye irritation persists, seek medical

attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, carbon dioxide, foam and dry powder may be

used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and

nitrogen.

Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus and a protective suit

should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing, see 2.3.1. Keep away from

sources of ignition.  Avoid contact with skin, eyes and

clothing. Avoid subsoil penetration and prevent from

entering the drains.  Do not contaminate surface water. Soak

up spill with an inert absorbent material.  Sweep up and

shovel into suitable containers for disposal.

Handling and storage

Handling: Handle and open container with care.  Personal protective

equipment should include goggles, protective gloves and

protective suit with safety shoes.  Breathing apparatus is

only needed when an aerosol or mist forms.

Storage: Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.  Keep

container tightly closed. Keep at temperatures below 25 deg

C. Do not fill containers more than 3/4 full.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance is packaged in plastic containers holding up

to 50 litres.
