First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Seek medical attention, symptomatic treatment.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with running water for 15 minutes.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention, symptomatic treatment.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Combustion products may contain carbon and nitrogen oxides

together with some soot, hydrogen chloride gas and chromium

compounds. Suitable extinguishing agents are water, foam

and dry chemical.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Collect spilled material after mixing with absorbent (sand

or sawdust) for disposal by incineration. Use suitable

protective clothing to avoid excessive contact.

Handling and storage

Handling: Minimise exposure using standard occupational hygiene

procedures. Avoid contact with eyes. Use goggles and

gloves.

Storage: Do not store or mix with oxidisers or peroxides.
