Registration Dossier

Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery of waste material is not possible.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: No chemical treatment is known at the present time to remove

the hazardous effect observed. The skin sensation is

believed to be due to enzyme impurities and their removal

is being investigated.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Disposal at a landfill site is the preferred means of

disposal as the substance is biodegradable.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: This method is a possible means of disposal.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The substance is virtually insoluble in water and may be

removed by filtration. Furthermore, it is readily

biodegradable.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Articles will not be recoverable

Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: The properties of the plastic articles are such that no

neutralisation will be required.
