Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Expressed as the nominal concentration of the test substance, the lethal effect of AS100 of Eisenia foetida is as follows:
7 day LC50 value is higher than 1000 mg/kg dry soil weight.
14 day LC50 value is higher than 1000 mg/kg dry soil weight.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Short-term EC50 or LC50 for soil macroorganisms:
1 000 mg/kg soil dw

Additional information

According to OECD Guidelines for the Testing of Chemicals, 1984, No. 207 Earthworm, Acute Toxicity Test, the acute toxicity of the test substance AS100 to Eisenia foetida was determined in a 14 day artificial soil test. One treatment group and one control group were included in the definitive test. The nominal concentration of the treatment group was 1000 mg/kg dry artificial soil weight.

Mortality of the earthworms in the control group was 0%.

Under the test conditions, the 7 day and 14 day LC50 value of the test substance toEisenia foetidais higher than 1000 mg/kg dry soil weight.
