Description of key information

Under acidic conditions the substance will be rapidly hydrolysed. Under neutral and alkaline conditions the substance will degrade slowly.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Hydrolysis was testes in a GLP-study according to EU method C.7 (BASF 1997). It was found that the substance hydrolyses rapidly under acidic conditions with a half-life <30min at 50°C while under neutral and alkaline conditions hydrolysis rates are found to be significantly lower indicating a slow degradation in water.
