Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. Call a doctor if
irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with water, remove contaminated clothing and shoes. If
irritation persists call a doctor. Wash clothing before
reuse.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Drink one or two glasses of water and, if available take
20-30 grams of activated charcoal in an aqueous slurry. Call
a doctor
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: Combustion products are likely to be nitrogen, sulfur and
carbon oxides and hydrogen chloride gas.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and protective
clothing when fire-fighting.
Accidental release measures
water-ways. Shovel or sweep up. Recovered material or
dispose of by incineration.
Handling and storage
get on skin or clothing. Avoid exposure by use of proper
protective equipment and clothing. This includes neoprene
gloves, chemical apron, protective footwear and goggles.
Wash clothing after use. Discard shoes if contaminated. Do
not consume food, drink or tobacco in areas where they may
become contaminated with this substance.
Storage: Store in a cool place. Keep container tightly closed.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Not given, 6th amendment notification.

Disposal considerations
product specifications. Contaminated and out of
specification material must be destroyed. (A613)
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: On toxicological grounds there is no need for
neutralisation. Furthermore, the substance exhibits no
herbicidal activity and there is no easy method of chemical
neutralisation.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration should be above 980 deg C. The stack gases
should be treated to remove the acids and particulates
(A661)
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Do not allow the substance to enter these systems.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain.
