Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The initial boiling point of the test item has been determined to be ca 302 ± 2 °C (575 ± 2 K) between 98.7 and 100.5 kPa (not corrected to normal atmP)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
302 °C

Additional information

A fully reliable experimental study, conducted according to a recognized OECD/EC method and under GLP, is available. It is considered as a key study.

The initial boiling point was measured by differential scanning calorimetry method. Four determinations were performed using a thermal program from 20 to 450 °C with a heating rate of 20 °C/min. Note that an amber colored stain remained as the observed residue on completion of each determination.

Despite minor restrictions due to heating rate, it is considered as a key study. The mean boiling point was retained as key data for purpose of CSA.
