Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Sample tested:
other: see remarks on results
Parameter:
other: UN MTC
Remarks on result:
not measured/tested
Remarks:
based on the molecular structure tesing for oxidising properties does not need to be conducted because a negative result can be predicted
Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Remarks:
not oxidising
Conclusions:
Based on the molecular structure of the substance [1, 3 and 5] no oxidising properties
according to [1], [3], [4] and [5] can be identified for dimethylbis[2-[(1-oxohexadecyl)oxy]-
ethyl]ammonium chloride.

Based on these facts, it can be stated beyond any reasonable doubt that dimethylbis
[2-[(1-oxohexadecyl)oxy]ethyl]ammonium chloride does not cause the combustion of other
material or contribute to it.

Therefore, testing of dimethylbis[2-[(1-oxohexadecyl)oxy]ethyl]ammonium chloride for
oxidising properties according to [1], [2] and [3] does not need to be conducted because a
negative result can be predicted.
