Advice for firefighters : Unsuitable extinguishing media : Water in jet
Protective equipment : Full protective and self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Ventilate contaminated area thoroughly. Evacuate the area of all non essential personnel. Do not breathe: Dust.
Avoid contact with : skin and eyes.
Wear Protective chlothing for normal operations, gloves and monogoggles.
Where local exhaust ventilation is not practicable or in case of prolonged exposure wear: General purpose dust respirator (disposable).

Environmental precautions :
Prevent contamination of soil . Prevent from entering into drains, ditches, rivers. Inform local authorities if this cannot be prevented.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Sweep and shovel up with a wet scrubbing in order to avoid creating a dust cloud.
Shovel into a suitable, clearly marked, closed container for safety disposal in accordance with local regulations.
Flush contaminated area with plenty of water after removal of absorbent.
