The substance has a high solubility in water; it is stable in water as shown by photometric measurements in studies on water solubility and partition coefficient.

Moreover, it is used as a dye and it is stable at high temperatures and acidic pH conditions, i.e. operative conditions of dyeing process, typically from 90 to 120 °C and pH 3 to 4.5.

On these bases, the substance is expected to be hydrolytically stable.
