Administrative data

First-aid measures

- Inhalation: remove victim immediately from source of epxosure. Consult a physician for specific advice.

- Ingestion: immediately rinse mouth and drink plenty of water. Call an ambulance. Bring along these instructions.

- Skin contact: remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash skin with soap and water. Consult a physician for specific advice.

- Eye contact: continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. To hospital or eye specialist.

Fire-fighting measures

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture

- Hazardous combustion products: thermal decomposition or combustion may liberate carbon oxides and other toxic gases or vapours.

- Unusual Fire & Explosion Hazards: may develop highly toxic or corrosive fumes if heated.

- Specific hazards: In case of fire, toxic gases may be formed.

Advice for firefighters

- Special Fire Fighting Procedures: water spray should be used to cool containers.

- Protective equipment for fire-figthers: self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear protective clothing as described in Section 8 of this safety data sheet.

- Environmental precautions: Do not discharge onto the ground or into water courses. Avoid discharge into drains. Collect and dispose of spillages in accordance with local authority requirements.

-Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Absorb with sand or other inert absorbent. Containers with collected spillage must be properly labelled with correct contents and hazard symbol.

Exposure controls / personal protection

- Process conditions: Provide eyewash station and safety shower. Wear appropriate clothing to prevent any possibility of skin contact.
