Difference between the lowest values of the main studies was less than 20 K, thus, the validity criterion was fulfilled.

The lowest value of the auto-ignition temperature was 362 °C. This value was rounded off, thus, the auto-ignition temperature of the test item is 360 °C determined as in DIN 51794.

Executive summary:

A study was conducted according to Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 Part A.15 and DIN 51794 (2003) to determine the auto-ignition temperature of the test substance. In a preliminary test the approximate auto-ignition temperature was determined. For the main test three test series were conducted. The temperature determined in the preliminary test was used as starting point for the main test. The temperature was varied in steps of 2 °C until no ignition was observed. According to criteria laid down in Regulation EC No. 440/2008 method A.15 and DIN 51794 the auto-ignition temperature is the lowest value rounded down to a whole multiple of 5 °C. Therefore, the auto-ignition temperature was determined to be 360 °C at 101325 Pa.
