Calibration of the thermometer

The thermometer was checked against a certified thermometer on November 09, 2012. A correction did not need to be applied.

 

Preliminary test

The preliminary test was performed as described. No congealing was observed down to a temperature of — 50.0 “C.

 

Main test

As no congealing was observed in the preliminary test, no further tests were undertaken.

Conclusions:
No further testing required (< -20°C).
Executive summary:

The freezing point of the test item was determined according to the OECD guideline No. 102 (freezing temperature method), under GLP.


In the preliminary test, using a cooling bath down to - 50.0°C (223.15 K), no solidification occured.
Therefore, the main test was not conducted.
