Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
An algal growth inhibition test was performed using four test concentrations between 0.032 mg/L and 1 mg/L. Based on biomass and growth rate, EC50 values of 0.14 mg/L and 0.21 mg/L were determined, respectively.
Executive summary:

To investigate potential harmful effects of the test item on aquatic algae or cyanobacteria, an algal growth inhibition test was performed. The test was performed with four test concentrations between 0.032 mg/L and 1 mg/L. With regard to biomass and growth rate, EC50 (72h) values of 0.14 mg/L and 0.21 mg/L were determined, respectively. The ErC10 (72 h) was determined to be 0.02 mg/L.
