The flammability potential of test item was assayed according to the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, Test N.1. During the preliminary test, the test item did not ignite at room temperature, applying a flame for at least 2 minutes, thus, it can be classified as non readily combustible solid of Class 4 Division 4.1 of the UN Transportation Regulation and as flammable solid according to GHS / CLP Regulation, respectively. The main test was not run.

Justification for classification or non-classification
According to the CLP Regulation (EC 1272/2008), flammable solids are classified according to their burning rate (or burning time) obtained in six test runs. Furthermore, a flammable solid means a solid which is readily combustible, or may cause or contribute to fire through friction. Readily combustible solids are powdered, granular, or pasty substances or mixtures which are dangerous if they can be easily ignited by brief contact with an ignition source, such as a burning match, and if the flame spreads rapidly.
During the preliminary test, the substance did not ignite at room temperature using a flame as ignition source being applied for at least 2 minutes..
In conclusion, the substance does not meet the criteria to be classified as flammable.
