Additional information

Skin irritancy of the test substance was determined in a guideline study (OECD TG 404) in rabbits. The test substance was found to be not irritating. Skin corrosivity of the test substance was determined in vitro in a guideline study (EU B.40). The test substance was found to be not corrosive.

Eye irritancy of the test substance was determined in a guideline study (OECD TG 405) in rabbits. The test substance was found to be not irritating to eyes in this study, which is decisive for classification. Eye irritancy of the test substance was also determined in vitro according to a draft guideline (OECD, Draft proposal for a new guideline: "Bovine Corneal Opacity and Permeability (BCOP) Test Method for Identifying Ocular Corrosives and Severe Irritants). There, the test substance was found to be slightly irritating, which is not decisive for classification.

Effect level: empty Endpoint conclusion: Adverse effect observed

Justification for classification or non-classification
