EC number: 270-727-8 | CAS number: 68477-38-3 A complex combination of hydrocarbons obtained by distilling cracked steam cracked distillate and/or its fractionation products. It consists of hydrocarbons having carbon number predominantly in the range of C10 to low molecular weight polymers.

Description of key information
Data on physical properties were obtained from a number of proprietary sources. The data in these sources are based on a critical evaluation of the data and the selected values are considered to be reliable and representative of the property under investigation. Information in the review process was documented in the introduction of the source. The use of Klimisch codes (Klimischet al., 1997), was extended to these sources and a reliability code of (2) valid with restrictions was assigned when using the authoritative secondary sources.
Review of the collated information indicates that streams are liquid or semi-solid with crystals at room temperature. The water solubility range for this Category is 25 to 41 mg/L. The vapour pressure range for this Category at a temperature range of between 19.9 and 25°C was 71 to 2592 Pa.
The flash point (52 to >145°C) results for this Category indicate members may be classified as Flammable liquid Category 3 under EU CLP (flash point: >=23°C to <=60°C).
