Description of key information

At 20 °C and 1013 hPa, the substance is a powder. The substance melts between 107 and 153 °C with onset at 134 °C and enthalpy of -95 J/g. It decomposes starting from 300 °C as shown by DSC analysis. The relative density of the substance is 1.372 at 20 °C, with a mass median diameter of 7.766 µm.

The substance has a partition coefficient between octanol and water of log Pow = 1.2047, determined by the shake-flask method at 20 °C; it is slightly soluble (i.e. < 20 mg/l at 20 °C and pH 6.78) as determined by the flask method. Experimentally, the substance resulted as not flammable.

Based on oxygen content, thermal analysis and known experience in handling/storage/use, the substance is considered as non explosive and non oxidising.
