An OECD Method 102 (12 May 81) capillary tube method study was conducted (also see ASTM E. 324-69). Three different batches were run in triplicate. In addition, an ultra-pure sample (99.9%) re-crystallized from CH2CL2 was also run in duplicate.

The melting point of the test item was determined to range from 64.7 to 66.3 °C.
