Test material

Specific details on test material used for the study:
The test solutions were prepared in different ways according to their physicochemical properties:
- Soluble products (powders and liquids): preparation of a test solution at 1 g / l.
- for not soluble liquids: production of a stable emulsion, 1 g/l solution treated for 5 mins with ultrasound (20 kHz, 50 watts)
- for not soluble powders: preparation of a test solution of 1 g of product in 20 ml of DMSO

Test organisms

Test organisms (species):

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The percentage of daphnia immobilized within 48 hours in the control tubes is 0% and is therefore ≤ 10%.
The conditions are simultaneously satisfied. The results obtained for the 26 products studied can therefore be considered valid.
