Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No experimental data on the substnace in itself are available for short term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates. Available data on Similar Substance 01, i.e. Disperse Orange 044, was used in a read across purpose. Details on read across procedure are reported in section 13.

Acute toxicity of the test substance to daphnia magna was determined in a 48-hour static test according to the OECD guideline 202.

Nominal concentrations tested were 0.058 - 0.10 - 0.18 - 0.32 - 0.58 - 1.0 and 1.8 mg test article /l , and a control without any additions. Results were related to the analytical concentrations of test article. During test duration, test substance concentrations were stable in the analysed test media, in the range of 89.0 - 137.9 % of nominal values. In all test concentrations, none alteration of test substance after 48 hours was observed. In the control and up to 0.34 mg/l, no immobilization of the daphnids was observed after 48 hours, thus EC0 = 0.34 mg/l and EC100 > 1.78 mg/l.
